Just a reminder, our hero reports are due next week, that is when you can rank up for turning it in. As a recap, you must choose a once living man or women from the Civil war time period. ( no superheroes or aliens). This does not have to be a military hero. Your report must include the full name of the hero, their date and place of birth (if known), a short biography of the hero, what they contributed to that time period, and what you admire about that hero and what you have learned from him/her that enriches our lives. The report should be in 12-point type, double spaced, I inch margined all around, paragraphs indented, at least three pages long, and one staple in the top left hand corner. You must also include a title page and at least two credible sources in MLA format. It is also required that two adults sign the final draft, generals not included. Emailed or late reports will not be accepted. Remember what we discussed in class, use the third person voice and quality adjectives/verbs to enhance your writing. Use an outline to make your report clear and concise. Looking forward to reading them!
